![]() With both the enchants, the combined total is STR 60, Max Damage 59. According to the wiki, every 2.5 STR = +1 Max Damage while 3 STR = +1 Min Damage. On the enchant side of things, Silence gives STR 10 and Max Damage 25, while Girgashly provides STR 50, Max Damage 34, and Critical 15 (I imagine extra 15% chance of critial happening). What does that mean? Is it saying character normal damage will be 150% stronger, PLUS it will give an extra 62% damage from the normal damage? So if a character averages 100 damage (for simplicity's sake, I'm not good with math lol!), then it will be something like "100 normal damage increased by 150% is 100+150 = 250 damage, then add 62% of the original 100 damage which brings the total to 250+62 = 312"? I sure hope my math's not dead. On that FG, it says "Critical Damage: 150+62%". So it seems there's actually one for the chances of critical happening, and there's another for actually increasing the damage. I didn't know there was such a thing as Critical Damage. Damage was simply based on what you can normally do and multiplied by a little bit. I always thought there was only Critical, where the higher the percent is, the more chances for it happening. I didn't know there was a separate stat for Critical Damage. While reading the stats, I suddenly realized that I may have been misunderstanding the concept of Criticals. It seems to have been fully upgraded as well going the "R" route, which I believe is for critical hit damage ("S" is for general damage right?). I'm trying to understand that potential impact having such a sword could have to my stats. I was just looking around the auction house here on Nao when I saw this Silence Girgashly Fanatic Greatsword R. Learned automatically upon equipping any Instrument.Picture of Silence Girgashly Fanatic Great Sword R, My Current Stats ->.At Rank 9 and beyond, the player can begin performing magical music with magical music scrolls.(This works until your playing rank is 3 ranks above your Musical Knowledge skill.) A good way to speed up ranking is to simply compose a score with a space, and then continuously play it.Scrolls 2 ranks or lower below your playing level do NOT give skill proficiency.Currently, scrolls above Rank 6 cannot be composed to reach the higher ranks, the player must play the default music endlessly to get normal successes. That was a difficult song for me to play.I need more practice to play this song well. The song is still too difficult for me.Lots of mistakes, although most didn't notice. ![]() I'm slowly gaining confidence in playing instruments. It seemed as if the God of Music had descended.Level of success is rated by the following:.Only six songs at rank 1 can possibly give great successes. Every default song has a pre-set rank. The chance of getting a great success increases when you are playing a scroll with a difficulty higher than your Playing Instrument rank. Great successes are obtained randomly.Imbolic increases success rate as well. ![]() Success rate is dependent on skill rank and rank of the song (or scroll) being played. The player will be stationary while performing. ![]()
